When Chicago radio station Wailin Broadcast Network (WBN) tries to become the fourth national radio station, a series of catastrophes unfold during their first live broadcast, including but not limited to murder most foul! It’s up to Roger Henderson, a writer who’s going through a separation with his wife Penny over an illicit affair, to find out who done it, clear his own name, and somehow patch things up with Penny who has enough problems of her own being the Assistant Director of the unfolding shitshow taking place both on stage and behind the scenes. It’s a who done it of epic proportions, with an ensemble cast that will surprise and delight, for the most part anyway, and a wacky exhibition of slapstick that rivals the three stooges.
